The Type C is a Heavy Duty internally
mounted motor Straight line wiper from Wynn’s Ocean Range.
It offers the most advanced design of linear action window
wiping systems for marine and other specialist applications.
Wynn wipers are acknowledged to be the most durable, reliable
and quietest wiper in the world.
By correctly matching
the stroke and blade lengths, up to 80% of the window can
be wiped. Fast wiping speed, can provide maximum view from
the ships bridge.
Whatever the weather, even in temperatures
as low as -30°C, or extreme tropical conditions, our
wiper systems can be relied upon to give unfailing service.
The drive shaft is taken through
the ships bulkhead and the motor attached with a single bolt
clamp, giving easy installation.
Standard controllers are available
in 1-6 ways. Customised systems can be supplied where there
are more wipers, or have a special requirement.
Control features can
include 2 speed operation, self parking, intermittent wipe,
heater switch, master group control and wash/air purge functions.
Our equipment is guaranteed
for two years from the delivery date of product (or one year
from the date the vessel enters service).
High powered AC induction motors
provide an efficient reliable operation, quiet running and
no maintenance.
Incorporating the highest quality
316 Stainless steel and other non-corrosive materials throughout.
The Type D has the motor
outboard and is only necessary to bring the electrical cables
through the bulkhead. The motor housing is fully sealed to
IP67 standards.
